With their new album 'Big Sparks' out this Friday, Belgium band Few Bits have shared a stream of the title track. Dreamy and melodic constructed with grand production without the unnecessary overkill, lead singer Karolien Van Ransbeeck provide a smooth sailing down a path of happiness with airy, angelic vocals.
Just as we're still riding high from his song 'Bruxelles' which was shared last month, Maarten Devoldere aka Warhaus now brings forth another track called 'Memory'. Extending his classic 1960s feel of hazy rock and roll, Devoldere commands the listener to not only be swayed by the savy production, but to follow the content of the story which is reminiscent of deliveries by acts such as Nick Cave.
One of the exciting albums set to drop this year is Few Bits' sophomore LP 'Big Sparks', out September 30th on PIAS. Having previously shared their spirited tune 'Do Your Best' months back, the band now unveil their new, dreamy single 'Sweet Warrior'. London label Play It Again Sam will release their 'Super Chilled' compilation on January 15th. As the title suggests, the new recording is packed with laid-back and mellow tunes by acts such as Beach House, alt-J, Royksopp and Basement Jaxx, just to name a few. 34 tracks in total, the 'Super Chilled' record will probably aid one in the midst of this cold winter. After releasing their LP 'Restrictions' back in January of this year, London trip-hop, alternative band Archive have announced their new remix album 'Unrestricted', forthcoming December 4th via PIAS. Enlisting producers such as Skalpel, Ulrich Schnauss and Van Rivers, the twelve song record is the band's further delving into the wide spectrum of the world of electronica, whilst maintaining the essence of the original LP.
Having inked a new deal with Play It Again Sam, Swedish/American band FEWS unleash their raging, new single 'The Zoo', out November 12th.
