Canon Presents ‘365 Days of Summer – Zoë Kravitz’s Summer Story’

Actress Zoë Kravit and Canon have teamed up together to get people inspired to tell their personal stories of summer. In this short video, Kravitz gives her take on the beauty and magic of summer as she dances, shoots friends and overall enjoys life. Canon has also launched a competition for photography lovers to submit their story for a chance to win a trip around the world throughout the summer season.

Matthew Farrar’s Savages Photo Exhibition at Rough Trade NYC Running January 11th – 31st

Brighton-based photographer Matthew Farrar will share a collection of photography work documenting two years on the road with punk band Savages. Running from January 11th – 31st at Rough Trade NYC, there will also be limited prints on sale. Farrar’s black and white imagery captures more lighthearted moments of the band, as well as photos from their video shoots, international travels and rehearsals.

Canadian fashion retailer SSENSE heads over to London to interview creative directors Harris Elliott and Dean Chalkley, co-curators of “The Return of the Rudeboy” exhibition, currently running until August 25th at Somerset House. Taking the styling, attitude and spirit of the Jamaican rudeboy culture which emerged in the 1950s and putting a modern spin on it, the exhibition features photography shot by Bevan Agyemang, as well as designed attire by Art Comes First. Contemporary Swiss Photography Exhibition at Artvera’s Gallery in Geneva, Switzerland, 9 May – 9 June

Artvera’s Gallery will present an exhibition of photography featuring works by four contemporary Swiss artists, Iseult Labote, Cedric Bregnard, Vincent Camel, and Patrick Weidman. On view May 9 – June 9, 2014, the exhibition entitled SWISS PHOTO is Artvera’s second show dedicated to contemporary Swiss art. The gallery previously mounted S.P.R.A.Y., the exhibition of works by four Swiss artists sharing an interest in the airbrush (spray) technique.

Photographer Lucos captures the Vibronics at Le Double Mixte in Lyon, France

Photographer Lucos was on deck December 21 at Le Double Mixte for Dub Station #4 featuring Blackboard Jungle, Vibronics featuring Jah Marnyah and Echo Ranks as well as Slimmah Sound and Lyrical Benjie. Here are the images of the Vibronics set. The crowd was totally up for the sounds and Lucos was there to shoot the moments.
