Pulling inspiration from New York City of the past, luxury brand Louis Vuitton unveil their 2017 men’s fall/winter campaign. Taking elements of the late 70s downtown style, the collection takes a nod at the period of bohemian artists, filmmakers and musicians of the Lower East Side with a mid-town elegance. Pieces include berets, leather ankle boots, the LV kimono sweatshirt and multi-pattern pyjama sets.

Dior Homme Fall 2017 Collection

Having recently opened the House of Dior Ginza Six in Tokyo, fashion brand Dior Homme now bring forth their Fall 2017 collection, which premiered in the Japanese capital, where it is also held at the Dior Ginza Six until a worldwide release. The team at MR Porter shine the spotlight on New York City designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow of the fashion brand Public School for their new ’24 Hours’ video. The duo give insight on their means of inspiration which include sitting at a Manhattan pizza spot and people watching. Prepping for the CFDA Awards, their is also behind the scenes footage of the duo at the model casting for the show which features stylist Eugene Tong. Japanese Punk/Noise Band Bo Ningen Star in Alexander McQueen A/W 16 Campaign

British brand Alexander McQueen pull inspiration from the 1970s Shinjuku club environment for their Autumn/Winter 16 collection. The company enlist none other than Japanese noise band Bo Ningen, as well as model Greta Varlese for the campaign itself. Shot by Harley Weir, Bo Ningen are styled in pieces from both the men’s and women’s collection, blurring the lines of gender.

Acne Studios Men’s S/S 17 Collection

Swedish brand Acne Studios concentrate on oversize designs with their new men’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Whilst still keeping the pieces reflective of Scandinavian minimalism, there is a playfulness within the designs of the collection include loose fit trousers with side zippers, vinyl rain jackets, caps and light knit vests with no sleeves.
