Wy ‘You + I’ Video

Swedish duo Wy have unveiled the video to their single ‘You + I’, taken from their forthcoming debut LP ‘Okay’. Self-directed, Ebba performs the song whilst riding in a car, with other clips featuring her biking at night. The content is an untypical painting of two lovers who rely on one another for comfort within their uncomfortable social settings. ‘Okay’ is officially out Oct. 20th on Better Call Rob / Hybris. Stream Luxia’s ‘Me, My Selfie and I’

Malmö-based Luxia delivers a cheeky single with ‘Me, My Selfie and I’. Whilst addressing the topic of the self-indulging method of pic taking that we all do and the actual dark side of it all, the song is presented in an upbeat and glamour-styled disco meets pop packaging that is actually quite addicting in itself. ColoRising Interview with Wy

Moody and dreamy; to fully appreciate the music of Wy is to be open to the true act of feeling. Their sound, a deeply lush and moving touch of indie and pop, is presented with honesty and sheer passion.

Comprised of singer Ebba Ågren and Michel Gustafsson, the Malmö-based couple made their debut with the beautiful single ‘In Bloom’. The song would set the tone for their ‘Never Was’ EP, released in November of 2016 via Hybris Records. Highly praised among music critics, the 5-song record was an enchanting soundscape of dream pop shining with deep and personal lyrics.

Check Out Per Hammar’s New ‘Dixie’s Dubb’ EP

Swedish producer Per Hammar delivers deep, driving house music with his new EP ‘Dixie’s Dubb’. Consisting of two original cuts, the title track is a sultry slice of late night 4×4 thumping with hard house drums and cosmic synths, moody and reeling. ‘Severnaja’ is a tech-style embedding that adds another texture to the record, brilliantly complimenting the first track. There is also a stellar remix of ‘Dixie’s Dubb’ courtesy of producer Argy. Per Hammar’s ‘Dixie’s Dubb’ is out now via the Dirty Hands imprint. Check it out below.

Once again the country of Sweden proves that they have more to offer than simply shiny pop acts. Malmö band Hater have stepped foot in the scene with their excellent debut single ‘Radius’. Taken from their forthcoming EP of the same title, the song is a raw and organic blend of indie and garage rock that cuts out any fluff and filler, delivering only the best bits rocking guitars, upbeat drumming and smokey vocals.
