Janelle Monáe ‘Dirty Computer’ Film

Janelle Monáe has released her critically acclaimed LP 'Dirty Computer'. Already dropping a number of videos throughout the past couple of months, she has finally shared her new film, or as she calls it, an emotion picture that accompanies the new album. Directed by Andrew Donoho and Chuck Lightning, it features actress Tessa Thompson, who has appeared regularly in Monáe's past videos. In fact, all of the vids are weaved into this futuristic film which help to complete the narrative of a bigger picture.

Janelle Monáe ‘PYNK’ Video

With her new album 'Dirty Computer' landing April 27th', Janelle Monáe drops another video on the world dubbed 'PYNK'. Teaming up with Grimes for more of a pop sound, the Emma Westenberg-directed video features Monáe and a crew of women celebrating the female existence, there is a lot of dancing and slogans on panties such as "I Grab Back". You can also catch actress Tessa Thompson in various clips. While shades of pink decorate parts of the video, you can also conclude that the song pays hommage to a specific female body part. Janelle Monáe ‘Make Me Feel’ + ‘Django Jane’ Videos

Janelle Monáe has announced the release of her new album 'Dirty Computer', dropping April 27th. To warm everyone's taste buds, the superstar has not only released one video but rather two simultaneously. The first, 'Make Me Feel', is directed by Alan Ferguson and features Monáe playing a number of character roles in a setting that references punk, new wave and more. The second video, the Andrew Donoho and Chuck Lightning-directed 'Django Jane', finds Janelle Monáe rapping whilst stylishly dressed with a mini army of biker jacket clad dancers.

Apparently someone at Atlantic Records is in tune to what's happening in house music because they called upon ATFC to do an official remix of the Janelle Monáe song "Queen" featuring Erykah Badu. What the label didn't expect was for ATFC to do a swinging, Hip-Hop leaning version of the track instead of a house remix. Well, he was able to get away with it because it's actually getting released on the Atlantic label.
