Johnny Labelle ‘Poseidonia’ Video

Athens singer Johnny Labelle has released his sophomore album 'XVIII' via Inner Ear Records. The record is the follow-up to his debut LP 'Cold Fruit' which landed back in 2019. With the new work comprised of nine tracks in total, one of the songs featured on the album is the dark pop tune 'Poseidonia', which Labelle has also shared a video for. Directed by Daphné Hérétakis, Sasha Streshna and Johnny Labelle himnself, the visuals feature the singer performing the track amidst psychedelic effects, giving the video a retro feel. Check Out Post Lovers’ Breezy Single ‘Tiger’

Athens-based artist Eleni Karageorgou have announced news of the release of her project Post Lovers' self-titled debut album. Out December 10th on Inner Ear Records, one of the songs featured on the record is this melodic and breezy track 'Tiger'. Powered by an intricate guitar riff and light drums, the tune is a lush sliding of gentle indie folk. The song follows Post Lovers' debut 7" 'Melbourne/Going Anyway', released last year.

Stream May Roosevelt’s New Album ‘ Junea’

Back in 2009, Greek producer and musician May Roosevelt entered the music scene with her debut EP 'Panda, a Story about Love and Fear'. Following up with her 2011 album 'Haunted' and her gorgeous 2013 LP 'Music to the Poetry of Ntinos Christianopoulos', Roosevelt now brings forth her new album 'Junea'. A lush journey through the digital landscape filled intricate compositions, the LP is a meeting ground of haunting arrangements and head-nodding drum patterns. Fever Kids Return With Their Upbeat Synth-pop Cut ‘Living In Fame’

Greece's pop queen Σtella unleashed her second LP 'Works For You' back in February of this year. Racking in critical praises from the press, she joins forces with again with Alex Z, returning with their Fever Kids band. The pair released their 'Play Hard' single in 2012, following up with their 'Peter, Debbie, Mary'/'Holding Grass' 7" in 2014. Known for their glistening brand of synth-pop, Fever Kids have now shared their new cut 'Living In Fame'. Upbeat in tempo, their indie meets pop stir has made for an exciting return for the Athens band with hopefully more tracks coming this year.

Led by a subtle guitar riff, the song progresses to a chic and sultry pop beauty, something that Chronopoulou has built a firm reputation on. Athens producer Kyriakos Moustakas aka Sundayman has had his hand in the musical pot for a number of years now, releasing his 2009 album 'Outerland' and 2012's 'Retronome', not to mention his work with Yellow Slots. With his third LP 'Scene Missing' out November 7th, Sundayman has shared his new track 'Alive', taken from the upcoming album. Somewhere between cinematic synth pop, 80s new wave and haunting electronica of today, Moustakas's eerie vocals along with the creeping keys help to push this cut into an all-out apocalyptic soundscape of goodness.
