Ultraflex Unveil Their Addictive Track ‘Work Out Tonight’

Icelandic/Norwegian group Ultraflex are slated to release their debut album 'Visions of Ultraflex', out October 30th. Inspired by the sounds of disco, the pair dropped the lead single 'Olympic Sweat' back in May of this year. Now Ultraflex step up with their second offering entitled 'Work Out Tonight'. Tapping into more of an 80s R&B meets glam pop vibe, the single is a glistening and sultry piece that makes you want to dance at a pool party with a cocktail in one hand during a warm summer day.

Björk ‘Losss’ Video

At this point, whenever Björk releases anything, you can be rest assured it's going to sound and looking like nothing that's currently out. The musical heroine now steps up with the visuals to her song 'Losss'. Reconnecting with Tobias Gremmler who directed her video 'Tabula Rasa', this is another wonderland of motion graphics that are utterly intriguing. Using duo faces that constantly shape shifts and morphs, Björk continues to up the levels of sound and imagery.

Högni ‘Komdu með’ Video

Dreamy, mountainous landscapes, fire blazes and horse riding - in terms of a high level video, Icelandic artist Högni has definitely delivered and then some. Co-directing the video for his track 'Komdu með' himself along with Máni Sigfússon, the artist uses the surroundings of his native country to stunningly coincide with the impact and surreal elements of the song itself. 'Komdu með' is taken from Högni's latest album 'Two Trains', which is out now.

After sharing his atmospheric and experimental track 'Crash' last month, Icelandic artist Högni returns with the title track to his forthcoming album 'Moon Pitcher', out October 20th via Erased Tapes. Springing with a bit more pep, Högni brings a bouncy dose of future funk iced with a tad of pop. The song is the final single before the big release.

Högni Steps Forth with His Cinematic Track ‘Crash’

Iceland's Högni recently unveiled news of the release of his new album 'Two Trains', which is scheduled to land October 20th on the Erased Tapes label. To further build the anticipation, he has now shared a new track titled 'Crash'. An intensity of weighty synths push forward whilst gorgeous, cinematic strings dance around the production creating a balanced and otherwordly soundscape.

Stream Högni’s Epic Track ‘Komdu Með’

Iceland has an extensive history of artists releasing some of the most cinematic and moving music around. Högni is definitely one who has made that list. Having previously made a name for himself in the groups Hjaltalín and GusGus, he is now set to release his debut solo album 'Two Trains' on October 20th via Erased Tapes. The first manifestation of the record comes in the form of his latest single 'Komdu Með'. A haunting sliding of orchestral electronica with an industrial polishing, the production whilst initially stomping with a husky synth strike, morphs into a beautifully epic soundscape that immediately provokes thoughts of a film score.

Pascal Pinon ‘Orange’ Video

Iceland's Pascal Pinon have released a gorgeous video for their single 'Orange'. Directed by Magnus Andersen, the stunning cinematography features dancers Halla Þórðardóttir and Sigurður Andrean Sigurgeirsson performing a passionate routine outside amidst breathtaking landscape. The song is taken from Pascal Pinion's latest LP 'Sundur' which is currently out now.

Stream Pascal Pinion’s Minimally Beautiful Track ‘Orange’

Icelandic siblings Pascal Pinon are set to release their third album 'Sundur' on Aug 26th via the Morr Music imprint. Produced by the duo themselves, the record deals with the separation of the sisters, with Ásthildur studying classical music in Amsterdam and Jófríõur touring with her separate band Samaris. The title of the album is taken from the Icelandic proverb "sundur og saman", which translates to "apart and together".
