Berlin label boss Cinthie is set to drop her ‘Beste Modus 07’ along with Beste Modus co-founder stevn.aint.leavn on May 19th. The four song EP finds the pair contributing two original tracks each, with their sound fusing Chicago jack along with deep house. Whilst Cinthie delivers funk-sprinkled tinges for ‘Back To Garage’ and shifting drum patterns graced with vocal samples for ‘Holdem’, stevn.aint.leavn finishes with the acid-influenced ‘Isnt It’ and the upbeat, soulful and deep ‘Sub Marino’. The record finds both producers on their A game, delivering another solid label release.

Building a reputation for his high-quality production, Belfast’s Hammer is set to release his new EP ‘Canna’ via LOFT Records. Comprised of three tracks, the record is an ethereal voyage into beautifully crafted house music that, whilst bouncy in rhythm, is moody and atmospheric, making it just as pleasurable for sitting back and listening as well as dancing. A vinyl version of the EP is currently out now, with the digital release landing April 17.
No stranger to Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom imprint, producer Kate Simko returns to the label with an upcoming release entitled the ‘Heart All’ EP. Landing on April 21, Simko brings a touch of melodic 4×4 with a jazzy layering. Consisting of three original cuts including the songs ‘All Heart’ featuring Amunet Shah and ‘Not Tonight’, Matt Tolfrey and Huxley come together to provide a scorching and grooving remix, fully powered to rattle the dance floor. Modern techno music as we know it may have been pioneered by The Belleville Three in Detroit, however the foundation that Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May helped to build eventually spread around the world inspiring young producers in Germany, the UK and more, eventually reaching as far as Tel Aviv. Whilst Israel may not be the first country one may think of in terms of the genre, there are DJs and producers creating the music and adding their identity, spreading the sound to international territory. One of those producers are NELA. The Israeli-born artist is fostering a rich and astounding sound bursting with musicality. Already a fixture as a performer in her native Tel Aviv, the now Berlin-based act is establishing herself as a force in the electronic scene pumping out top-notch records and rocking the dance floor as a DJ.
