Curses & Local Suicide Release Their Collaborative EP ‘Tusk Wax 28’

Berlin by-way-of NYC producer and musician Curses has teamed up with duo Local Suicide to release new collaborative EP for the UK-based Tusk Wax imprint. Simply dubbing it 'Tusk Wax 28', the 4-track record finds the artists doing what they do best, which is pump out dark and husky disco, hedi EBM, acid and synth wave, all spawned with a post punk sensibility. A complete soundtrack to late hour clubbing in Berlin, the EP follows Tusk Wax's 'Tusk Wax 27', all the while bringing more bite and edge. Stream a preview below.

Stream Bootblacks’ ‘The Longest Night’

As NYC band Bootblacks prepare for the release of their new album 'Fragments', landing September 14th o Manic Depression Records, the group have shared their latest tune 'The Longest Night'. Straddling a fine line between the sounds of post-punk and cold wave, the haunting track built on rolling guitar riffs and deep, shifting synths, follows their previous stomping cut 'Hold & Dissolve'.

Listen to Philipp Läufer’s ‘Hexan Trouble’

As a part of Bleib Modern, Philipp Läufer and the band have released some of the purest post-punk and cold wave tracks in the last few years. Raw and organic, they dropped their brilliant debut album 'All Is Fair In Love And War' back in 2015. Läufer has also brought forth a slew of tracks as a solo artist with the sound ranging from dark electronic instrumentals to vocal new wave tracks. Philipp Läufer's latest song 'Hexan Trouble' is another instrumental-based lo-fi shot of electronica that follows his nocturnal tune 'Romanzeum7', shared a couple months back. At only 2 minutes in length, we have a stream of 'Hexan Trouble'.
