Irish siblings Song Sung follow-up their previous track 'The Mind's Eye' with a new single entitled 'Take Some Time', which is taken from their forthcoming debut album 'This Ascension is Ours', out July 31st on Night Time Stories. A dreamy and atmospheric electronica meets dream pop handing, the tune is constructed on layered, cosmic synths, a subtle yet melodic bass line and slow-knocking drums all topped with Song Sung's ghostly vocals.

Girls Names Share Their New Single ‘The Impaled Mystique’

Belfast band Girls Names have shared their new single 'The Impaled Mystique'. The song is taken from their upcoming album 'Stains On Silence', out June 15th on Tough Love Records. A dark, chamber felt combo of post-punk, indie and art rock, the reverb soaked vocals are accompanied by eerie guitar riffs and a sinister bass line. This is undoubtedly a soundtrack to the night.

Belfast band Girls Names are gearing up for the release of their new album 'Stains on Silence', landing June 15th on Tough Love Records. The group shared the leading single '25' last month and now return with a second track titled 'Karoline'. Whilst still slightly darker in sound, the track takes a more up-spirited approach compared to their previous song, etching closer to the side of lush and atmospheric production.

Girls Name Unveil Their Haunting Track ’25’

Belfast band Girls Name have announced the release of their fourth LP 'Stains on Silence', out June 15th on Tough Love Records. What can be viewed as a triumph over uncertainty, the new album follows their 2015 record 'Arms Around a Vision'. Girls Name singer Cathal Cully said of the trying times before the new album: "There was a finished – and then aborted – mix of the album, which was shelved for six months. We then took a break from all music and went back to full-time work. We chilled out from the stress of rushing the record and not being happy with it, as well as being skint with no impending touring on the cards and constantly having to worry about rent.”

New Portals ‘Chasing Shade’

Belfast-based duo New Portals give viewers a glimpse into their previous summer with the video 'Chasing Shade'. From filming themselves in fields to jamming in the studio, there are even scenes where the pair's daughter bust a few moves on camera. The song is taken from New Portal's EP 'Golden Hour' which is out now.

Hammer Gearing Up for Release of ‘Canna’ EP

Building a reputation for his high-quality production, Belfast's Hammer is set to release his new EP 'Canna' via LOFT Records. Comprised of three tracks, the record is an ethereal voyage into beautifully crafted house music that, whilst bouncy in rhythm, is moody and atmospheric, making it just as pleasurable for sitting back and listening as well as dancing. A vinyl version of the EP is currently out now, with the digital release landing April 17.

New Portals Announce Debut EP ‘Stereo’ + Share the Title Track

Belfast band New Portals have announced the release of their forthcoming EP 'Stereo'. Landing March 10th. The new record follows a string of tracks throughout 2016 including 'Cage' and 'WinterSkin'. The duo have also shared the title cut to the EP. Playing with the experimental side of pop, the slick and catchy piece is an upbeat offering, pushing the group closer to the mainstream charts.
