Stream Pascal Pinion’s Minimally Beautiful Track ‘Orange’

pascal

Icelandic siblings Pascal Pinon are set to release their third album Sundur on Aug 26th via the Morr Music imprint. Produced by the duo themselves, the record deals with the separation of the sisters, with Ásthildur studying classical music in Amsterdam and Jófríõur touring with her separate band Samaris. The title of the album is taken from the Icelandic proverb “sundur og saman”, which translates to “apart and together”.

One of the tracks featured on the new LP is the minimal tune ‘Orange’. Sparse with simply vocals and a piano, there is a fairytale-like beauty to the arrangement with the melodies ripe and rich. Have a listen.
