Stream Paragon’s Latest UK Garage/Bass Cut ‘Tuff’

para

Bristol duo Paragon blend elements of British styles spanning the past 20 years in their new track ‘Tuff’. Combining UK garage, bass and ragga, the song is a no-nonsense tune that any DJ would be able to hammer the club with. This is one of those singles that should kept at bay for when it’s peak time at the rave. Drop the tune and watch the crowd erupt in a frenzy.

Touching on the track ‘Tuff’, Tom of Paragon wrote:

“This track started out as an instrumental that we put together in the studio. It was developed from the garage style drum beat that you can hear in the intro and we wanted to create something that incorporated some bass sounds that we had been experimenting with in the studio. Our focus was to make something heavy for the clubs but also show a musical side to our sound. After some time digesting the track I was listening through some vinyl and old skool mixes for some vocal inspiration and up came ‘The Going Rough’ by Cutty Ranks, Cocoa Tea, Home T. I have been a big fan of this track for some time and had the idea of putting elements of that acapella on our track and making an up to date pumpin mix. It was a perfect match for our tune. We edited it and re-worked it to fit and are very happy with the result. Big respect to the original crew.”
