Nowegian-born, L.A.-based singer Helene Alexandra Jæger aka Holy Boy released her self-titled EP back in 2017 to a wide array of praises from the press. Making her return, her latest single ‘Elegy’ is inspired by her first arrival to the city of Los Angeles. With the production built on dark pop, a tinge of post-punk and industrial, along with a dash of Hip-Hop, Holy Boy has definitely created a sound that grabs your attention instantly, comforting you throughout the duration of the ride.

Regarding the track, Holy Boy stated:

“Coming from Bergen, Norway, I’d never seen a city like LA before. It was like landing on a different planet. The complete opposite to Scandinavia. No safety net.”
