Australian singer Starley makes her return with a new single titled ‘Been Meaning To Tell You’. Firing off with a shot of uptempo RnB laced with pop linings, the track is the follow-up to her blazing tune ‘Touch Me’.

In a press statement regarding the single, Starley mentioned:

“I wrote this record a while ago and just felt there was something special and relatable about it. It was written about a guy who liked me a lot but I was always busy with music so I kind of blew him off thinking he’d be around whenever I was ready. One night I saw him out at a club and thought, you know what, I do like him, I’m going to tell him I like him. At that moment, this beautiful girl walked up and grabbed his hand. He looked so happy and I realized I’d lost my chance. So, I went home and wrote about it! As for the production of the record, it went through a few variations before I connected with this amazing producer, Cory Enemy, who was able to lock in with me and create what you hear today!”
