A highlight of the festival calendar for any serious house and techno head, Sonus Festival is Croatia’s leading underground techno adventure, a five day and five night session set on the stunning Zcre Beach shores. Set to embark on it’s biggest outing to date for edition number four, Sonus will unite heavyweight talent for a celebration like no other. With less than two months until 2016’s techno mecca, Sonus reveal a jam-packed boat party agenda running across five days, with trips from Grelle Forelle, THUMP, Colours, and more. On top of this, find a host of new names added the huge festival bill, including dream team Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg, plus Monika Kruse and Andy Catana.

Sonus Festival’s boat parties are an essential part of the Sonus experience, and with tickets for each boat limited and priced at just €25, it’s advised to reserve a place on your boat of choice asap. Priority tickets go to current ticket holders, who’ll have a week from Wednesday 29th June to secure a place, before general tickets go on sale. With each sea-session running from 5pm – 9pm, boat parties are a chance for ravers to let loose to the rhythms of the worlds hottest selectors, all whilst watching the sun set over the idyllic Croatian coastline.

First up to set sail from the Croatian shores is Austrian party crew Grelle Forelle, who bring killer selectors Fernando Costantini and Andy Catana to soundtrack their ocean trip. Between house, techno, disco and tech, the GF crew will take the boat on a journey through sea and sounds. Second up for the weeks parties is purveyor of electronic sounds and leading tastemaker, THUMP, who’s boat is one not to be missed. Setting the groove for THUMP will be Sonus Festival favourites andhim, plus home country export, Homeboy. As if that wasn’t enough, the third Sonus boat on Tuesday is hosted by revered Amsterdam imprint Colours, with a very special sunset B2B from Valentino Kanzyani and Ian F.

Resident Advisor take the reins on the second to last boat party, with a solid-gold crew of talent who’ll be steering the boat party crew into a frenzy. Italian king Joseph Capriati will bring his trademark hands-in-the-air techno, teaming up with Tijana T, leading lady of the Croatian-tech crew. Expect these two experts to combine deep cuts and fierce grooves for the RA boat party. Last up, the final boat is a super-special surprise from some more Sonus favourites. Boats set sail from Novalja Harbour at 5pm, and return at 9pm, priced at just €25 each. Anyone who purchased a Sonus Festival ticket before 11:59pm on Tuesday 28th of June CET, has private access to pre-sale tickets Wednesday 29th June, 6pm CET. To buy you need to have your ticket code at hand and type in the field when requested. Sell-out parties on each boat are expected, so don’t miss out on the chance to sail off on a Sonus adventure.

As well as the gigantic boat party outings across the week, Sonus add yet more artists to the already epic line-up. Newly-wed Drumcode couple Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg, plus longstanding Sonus family member Monika Kruse, and Grelle Forelle’s Andy Catana all make welcome additions to 2016’s proceedings, joining in the five days of debauchery. Across five days, over fifty of the most iconic names in electronica play across the beach-side arenas, including Parisian supergroup Apollonia, Binh, Chris Liebing, DeWalta, Dixon, Eats Everything, Jackmaster, Joseph Capriati, Loco Dice, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler, Zip and more.

Using only the best soundsytems the world has to offer, Sonus Festival has in four years become a serious contender for the most impressive event in Croatia’s star-studded festival crown. It’s a celebration of epic proportions, a chance for ravers to unite; loosing themselves in the music, discover new artists and make memories across five sun drenched days and hazy nights in the setting of Zrce Beach.
