PVT ‘Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend’ Video

pvtvid

With their upcoming album New Spirit set to drop on February 17th, Sydney group PVT unveil a new video for their song titled ‘Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend’. Directed by Mclean Stephenson, the 9 minute vid features a guy who heads off into the forest to be one with nature, escaping his normal life. In the process, he literally adapts to his surrounding by dressing like a bush and doing things to now completely fit into this new habitat.

Describing the concept in depth, director Mclean Stephenson wrote:

“This video is about the spiritual ruination of a nobody. A beaten person. A man who couldn’t even get a seat at a support group meeting. So he moves to the bush. And he decides to dress like a bush. And eat animal food. And erase himself. And in the depths of his erasure he encounters a new hope. He soon becomes a spirit of the bush. A spirit of the bushland night sky. And he soars through the trees and over the trees. And he is a Phoenix and a guardian of places without postcodes. A new spirit.”
