No Hot Ashes Share Their Infectious Track ‘Bad Crowd’

Manchester’s No Hot Ashes have been quite consistent since stepping out with tracks like ‘Goose’ three years ago. Fusing sounds ranging from post-punk, funk, disco and more, they have released their new EP titled Skint Kids Disco. They have also shared the latest single ‘Bad Crowd’, which is also taken from the new record. Taking aim at the youth generation to step away from their smoking mirrors of what it means to be young in this day and age, No Hot Ashes yet again deliver sheer brilliance.

Touching on the song, singer Issac Taylor said:

“Bad Crowd allowed us as a band to experiment using different instrumentation and that was a lot of fun in the studio. The strings and tempo of the song add a slice of something new to the No Hot Ashes discography; it’s our disco-funk ballad. The lyrics explore being poor, feeling unmotivated and embodying the “bad crowd” your mother warned you about.”
