Barcelona-born, London-based singer Odina has shared her cover version of Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’. The track is taken from her forthcoming EP Nothing Makes Sense. Completely changing the mood of the original, Odina’s version is a spacious indie folk driven rendition that is organically warming and rich, as well as equally charming.

Touching on the song, Odina stated:

“The main body of the song is a live take of guitar and vocals that I’d recorded at 2 or 3am in my bedroom after getting back from a night out… There was something about that one take, it wasn’t perfect, but there was so much emotion in it, it just felt very real. I decided to use it. I think for me it’s way more important to capture those rare moments, where there is so much emotion, without any filter, than to make everything sound perfect in a track. There is a certain kind of beauty in imperfections I think, as well.”
