Listen to Leon Of Athens’ ‘Xenos’

Back in 2015, Greece-raised, London-based artist Leon Of Athens dropped his highly impressive and polished LP Global. A rich ride through indie pop, he now returns in a big way of his latest track ‘Xenos’. Whilst the production similar previous work is of the utmost of quality, Leon Of Athens has added more of an edge and to call it monumental is in understatement. Thundering drums coincide with sharp guitar riffs, as Leon’s poetic storytelling plays like a soundtrack to a motion picture film. The single is taken from his forthcoming LP set to land this year.

Touching on ‘Xenos’ Leon Of Athens wrote:

“Xenos’ was initially inspired by the genocide of indigenous peoples. The song refers to any oppressed group of people who are forced to leave their land. On a personal note, it also refers to the feeling of being a stranger to your own self.”
