French band Deleo will release their EP Unfair on October 23rd. Having already dropped the title track as the first single a few months back, they now unveil their latest song ‘Mythomania’. Whilst there is a haunting tone to this dark pop offering, musically the tune blossoms with rich, full production. From folk initiated guitar lines on down to the atmospheric synths and eerie effects, Deleo hold back no punches in terms of not only instrumentation, but also the engineering and mastering, which is stellar. The change-ups are phenomenal, and of course the vocals of Emy Eris lay as the spear on the tip. Creating a bridge between pop and rock, ‘Mythomania’ is a magnificent window into the forthcoming record. Have a listen.
