The rise of Butterz from one time blog to world recognised record label has seen it establish itself as the one true voice of Grime in the UK and further afield. Having hosted some of the biggest parties London’s seen, with the biggest names, it’s at the centre of everything worth recognition. On 23rd February, Butterz are back at Cable once again, but this time for a different reason. After 3 years of running the label, Elijah and Skilliam have reformed the genre and the brand has expanded to include the likes of Swindle, Terror Danjah and Royal-T as partners.
The night is headlined by 4AD’s very own Joker taking to the decks in a back to back set with Butterz funk-maestro Swindle. Lil’ Silva is also on hand for support, following a year packed with high profile collaborations in 2012 – returning, this time with song writing to add to his list of doings. Elijah and Skilliam of course take to the decks alongside label mates Terror Danjah, Royal-T and Champion with special guests Flava D, D.O.K, Darq E Freaker and more on hand to wish the label many happy returns.
