It had technically been over 5 years since The Prodigy’s last album Invaders Must Die, prior to the announcement of their new single “Nasty”, which is out Feb. 2nd. Whilst the original version continues their rave rattling and fuzzing breakbeat hardcore style, DJ Zinc’s remix of the song is less cluttered in sound. Again, sometimes the ‘less is more’ way of operating can be just as, if not more effective. Never the less, Zinc’s rework is a delicious treat for the old school breaks fans. Have a listen.
