Killer Mike and El-P’s latest album RTJ2 has been considered one this year’s best Hip-Hop LPs and it was only officially released this past Moday! In celebration of the new album, Run The Jewels threw an event at Brooklyn’s Nitehawk Cinemas. In the midst of the night, Nas popped up to share a preview of his new track “The Season, which is produced by the late J Dilla. Dilla fans will remember the beat as “Gobstopper” from the Donuts album, released in 2006 on Stonesthrow. Nas on a Dilla beat? This is possibly a Hip-Hop lover’s wetdream.
