Stream The Last Skeptik’s “Show Me”

Let’s be honest, the whole trap sound has gone through the ringer ten times over making it almost untraceable to it’s dirty south roots. Everyone from bedroom, internet nerds to hipsters have made a name for themselves by releasing so called trap music, strangely found interesting by crowds of kids who possibly were never Hip-Hop fans from the start. Perhaps this is why The Last Skeptik’s song “Show Me” knocks authentically harder than the rest. For starters, the London producer has his roots in Hip-Hop and grime, working with acts such as Sway, Jhest, Lowkey, Trim, Scrufizzer and Dream Mclean. As a DJ, the Finsbury Park dweller has also rocked the stage with the late Guru of Gangstarr. So to make a long story short, The Last Skeptik is more than qualified to produce heavy-hitting trap-style music which stems from a place of understanding the culture. And you know what, his grimey, wig-splitting track “Show Me” bangs harder than artillery in Mogadishu. The tune is taken from The Last Skeptik’s forthcoming release “I Don’t Even Like You” out November 10th on BBE.
