German masterminds Florian Seyberth and Peter Heider aka Boozoo Bajou have released some of the most cutting edge electronic music in the scene with a lengthy career spanning more than 15 years. From their initial record releases such as the 1998 single “Night Over Manaus” and the 1999 recording “Under My Sensi”, down to their debut LP “Satta”, Boozoo Bajou have created pleasing soundscapes built with a mixture of trip-hop, downtempo, dub, jazz and more. The duo dropped their second album “Dust My Broom” in 2005, with their third LP “Grains” following in 2009. This year marked the return of Heider and Seyberth with their fourth studio album “4”, which showcased the two sounding as impressive as ever. Refusing to slow down the momentum, the pair are gearing up for their next EP titled “Hirta”, which lands September 29 on Apollo Records. Adding two new tracks to the EP, “Amoniard” and “Loss Of Big Nicks”, included will also be remixes of “S.A.E.”, “Phonetrik” and “Hirta” courtesy of Red Axes, Gacha and Dr. Atmo. The EP is a deeper journey into ambient rhythms, downtempo and experimental electronica, adding another notch in the belt of Boozoo Bajou’s extensive discography.
